Be a Pain - In a Good Way
Pursuing postsecondary education for the first time, or returning to school after a prolonged period, is a difficult decision for many adults. Has too much time passed? Can I juggle school and a family? You aren’t the first non-traditional student to ask yourself these questions — most students in your situation have a lot on their minds.
The following often apply to Non-Traditional/Returning Adult Students:
- 24-plus years old
- Have children
- Didn’t attend college right after high school, or are returning to college after an extended break
- Want to make a career change or renew certification/licensure.
Don’t get overwhelmed! You aren’t alone! U. S Department of Education statistics show that this is a growing segment of the population. Help is available!
