The college planning process can be daunting. Here are
some additional resources to consider:
- Freshman students begin to create a high school portfolio with an electronic file of all activities, offices held, community volunteering, church activities, awards and anything else they have accomplished throughout high school. The Montana Career Information System (MCIS) is a great resource. Students can create their own individual portfolios to do just that. To log on to MCIS, click here.
- Many qualities vital to college success include communication, problem solving, decision making, study skills and goal setting. For resources for helping students in these areas visit http://college.hmco.com/masterstudent.
Many students have dreams of becoming collegiate athletes. To help student athletes become skilled in more than just sports, visit http://www.ncaastudent.org for The Guide for College Bound Athletes
