Montana Career Information System (MCIS)

Before you invest years and money into pursuing a career, it's important to be as sure as possible that you'll like it. In order to do that, use the Montana Career Information System (MCIS).

This comprehensive Web site - updated annually by the Montana Department of Labor and Industry - can help you identify occupations you might be interested in pursuing by providing a variety of assessments to complete, including Occupation Sort, O*NET Interest Profiler, Work Importance Locator and Micro-SKILLS.

You may take the information you collect on the site to the next level by using the "Education and Training" section of MCIS to perform tasks such as review a list of more than 3,500 colleges in the United States, learn about educational programs offered, search for scholarships and other financial opportunities.
