Financial Aid Help
- Attend a financial aid night. Schools across Montana host these events. Parents and students are invited to learn about the financial aid process from informed advisors. Usually, they take place in the period between November and February. For more information, talk to your guidance counselor.
- Go to Montana College Goal Sunday. Everyone should fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) whether they think they will qualify for aid or not. At College Goal Sunday, students and their families can receive help completing this essential paperwork. This event is held annually at 17 sites across Montana on the second Sunday in February. This year, that date is Feb. 10. For more details about the event, visit www.collegegoalmt.org. In Montana, the priority filing date for the FAFSA is March 1.
